Today was my first day in Reading Classics. It’s fun.Reading Classics is when you read books on a list.We meet every Monday, after school.Sometimes, our coach reads books from the list to us.Then,we get to check out books from the list.[This all is taking place in the library]Then we have snacks and leave. It goes on ’til February. Then, the people who answered the most questions about the books, and read the most books,go to the championship. That’s when you on your team, represent your grade[s], and your school, and face teams from other schools, in trying to hit the buzzer first, and try to answer questions about books.I’m pretty sure I’ll make the team, considering I’ve read about thirty of the books!

The schools here in Baltimore have a contest like that called “Battle of the Books”. My friend is the coach at my school. She says it’s very fun.
Wow Anna! You must be a very good reader to have read all those books already! Good luck in the contest!
I’m in a book club & this year we decided to read one ‘Classic’ each year that we’ve never read before. This year’s was: “The House of the Seven Gables”. I didn’t like it.
